Murray, who joined the agency 11 years, will head up the newly created client-leadership team. The agency said it had created the client-leadership team to maintain 'focused investment' in relationships with its clients, as it expands the business.
MPG Media Contacts buys WebNarrative as part of full-service push
Media agency MPG Media Contacts has bought digital design and build agency WebNarrative for an undisclosed sum. The acquisiton is part of MPG's plans to offer an integrated service by having a full range of digital expertise. It has also recently bought mobile agency Mobext and launched social media unit, Socialyse.
MPG Media Contacts wins Haier account
The Havas-owned agency¹s appointment comes as the brand prepares to roll out its first major UK advertising campaign since it launched in the UK in 2007.
In Europe, Haier already has a presence in Italy, Spain, Russia, Poland, Portugal and Croatia.
MPG Media Contacts will begin working on a new product launch campaign for a combi fridge freezer, which will break in press and online in July.
Haier produces electric goods including washing machines, electric wine coolers and laptops. The company aims to be a top-five white goods brand in the UK in the next few years.

Escada taps MPG Media Contacts
International fashion group Escada has appointed MPG Media Contacts to its seven-figure global media account.
MPG Media Contacts succeeded in the pitch against Mediacom, Mindshare and PHD and will handle media planning and buying for all products, except fragrances and eyewear, in classic and online media.

MPG Media Contacts wins Circle Health media business
MPG Media Contacts has won the integrated media planning and buying account for Circle Health, the healthcare partnership that runs and builds hospitals.
The incumbent on the account was Walker Media, which resigned from the business last September.
The account is worth just under £1m, according to MPG Media Contacts, and the scope of the work covers offline and online channels in the UK.
Circle, which became the first private UK firm to run an NHS hospital last year when it won the tender to run Hinchingbrooke Hospital, plans to build a network of 30 hospitals across the UK in the coming years.
