MEC is a founding partner of GroupM, WPP’s media investment management group. GroupM combines the billings of all WPP-owned media agencies into one negotiating point, with the goal of delivering lower costs and improved quality of exposure for all our clients. With estimated gross billings of £2.9 billion, GroupM is the biggest buyer of media in the UK.

Strong people culture
We have the confidence in our ability to create big ideas and the integration skills - both inside the agency and with external agency partners - to originate, amplify and organise brave and successful agency campaigns such as the Morrison's Let's Grow campaign.
Scale Diversification
It's of little use to clients or agencies just to have an individual who can talk observationally about the opportunities Twitter and social platforms offer. Because we back our bets we can also make specific recommendations and then deliver against them - even to the extent of being able to take a lead on overcoming barriers as significant as specifying IT needs as we did for Lloyds TSB.
Strong thinking
We recognise that we get better results when we are able to apply real insight to our client's questions. Because we've been so significantly involved in pioneering new ways of understanding consumer behaviour we are able to lead organisations like the TDA into new ways of communicating and produce radically improved results.

We believe in our people and our community and make every effort to ensure that we are giving back. In the last 2 years we have raised over 60k for NSPCC, Anthony Nolan and the local area -devoting 3,500 hours to helping local projects, schools and charities.
