Co-Director of Talent
Kate read History at Cambridge University and joined JWT as a trainee account manager in 1984.
She was appointed to the Board in 1989.
Kate has worked on most of the agency's major clients, past and present, including Unilever Bros, Kellogg, Nestle, Scott, Esso and Boots. She was the first director of Integrated Brand Communications in JWT London, and also spent four years working in New Business. Kate is responsible for all training in London, and has run workshops for clients such as Vodafone, Heineken, Kraft and other JWT offices including Paris, Tel Aviv, Warsaw and Hamburg. Kate has chaired the IPA Agency Trainers Network (UK advertising industry trade body) and was co-author of the industry wide Continuous Professional Development Standard. She currently sits on the IPA Training and Development Committee.
As well as her training responsibilities, Kate is also Marketing Director for JWT, so still knows what life is like at the sharp end.
Kate has too many men in her life : husband Richard, three sons, Max, Harry and Jim., boy guinea pig Hazel, Tomcat Sinbad, 5 (male) ducks, and a male au pair…
