Data is often viewed as boring and just about the numbers. The truth about data is very different - it is alive with creative opportunity to help brands make their marketing more engaging and effective.

Our members have told us how hard it is to keep up with the thinking and technologies around data that are available in marketing these days.

The Being Creative with Data Forum is designed to bring our members face to face with the leading companies in the data technology area including:

• Experian Integrated Marketing
• Experian Hitwise
• Oracle
• SAS UK
• Neteffekt
• Kxen
• Velti
• CCB fast.MAP

This forum’s designed specifically to cover the biggest questions, like:

• How to connect the new data generated by digital marketing with traditional transactional databases.
• How to develop a genuine 360 insight into your customer by using multiple information sources.
• How to make the most of new forms of targeting: behavioural, location - based and by recommendation.
• How to measure effectiveness and optimise budgets on this new data landscape.

How it works:

Basically it’s an informal seminar, and a combination of speed-dating and brainstorming — all in a morning session.

Our members have given us a list of technologies they want to learn more about. The chosen companies will have 10-mins to pitch the creative nature of their technology to the key themes above.

This will be followed by a series of facilitated workshops in which a small group of agency people will be joined by two of the companies. Together they will have the opportunity to discuss new creative applications of the technology. These workshops will be rotated around the key themes.

Why attend?:

• Time efficient way of keeping-up with the latest agency offerings from the main data technology companies
• Network with other agency people who are interested in data and technology
• Gain ideas to develop potential new revenue streams for your agency
