If your heart beats faster at the thought of safely tip toeing forwards.
‘Nudge’ theories have their place in the world. We all want to believe that change can be affected through a series of small, incremental steps.
They sound do-able.
Achievable.
Possible.
But deep down, we all secretly applaud big, giant, leaps.
Ideas that challenge the status quo.
Change the way "we do things ‘round here".
Turn convention on its head.
They sound brave.
Inventive.
Imaginative.
The global economic recession, an agenda of change in America and a rapidly evolving media landscape have left many searching for some new, innovative thinking. Over the coming months, the IPA Strategy Group will be running a series of lo-fi, informal events celebrating game changers: those people behind the big, brave leaps in strategic thinking, who have done things differently and triumphed.
Come to
Adam Street Private Members’ Club on Wednesday 13th May and hear three truly inspirational speakers from very different backgrounds explore the theory behind their big idea.
They are:
- Dan Hon, co-founder of Six to Start, the award-winning entertainment production company behind the "We Tell Stories" project for Penguin Books.
- Giles Andrews, co-founder of Zopa, a marketplace where people can lend and borrow money to and from each, sidestepping banks.
- Tim Malbon, founder and Executive Director of digital consulting company Made by Many.
The evening kicks off at 6:00 with drinks and nibbles and the first speaker will be on stage at 6:30. Tickets are £25 +VAT for members and £50 +VAT for non members, which includes a 10% discount for booking online. Please note that we will be unable to offer a refund for any cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.
