Supporting the centralised leadership of the President and Council, IPA Communities provide a lattice-work of touch-points between the IPA and its membership.

IPA response to OFT research

The IPA has responded to an OFT study published this week on its views on behavioural advertising and targeted pricing practices. Says Nigel Gwilliam, Digital Consultant, IPA: "The OFT's vision of an industry-wide, transparent system of self-regulation that works for the consumer is absolutely right, and of course we have nearly fifty years' of Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) experience to rely on as we embrace the digital era.."


2010 Best of Health Awards shortlist revealed

One hundred and eleven entries from 26 agencies have been shortlisted for the 2010 IPA Best of Health Awards which showcase the best creative work in healthcare across 22 categories including press, poster, direct, online and international. In total there were 334 entries for the competition from 50 agencies.


IPA’s valuable advice on pitching

25 IPA agencies awarded CPD Gold

Twenty-five IPA agencies have been awarded Gold accreditation for their supreme professional development programmes.


Nick Kendall awarded IPA President’s Medal

Nick Kendall, Group Strategy Director, BBH, has been awarded the President’s Medal at the IPA Members’ Lunch today (21st April 2010), in recognition of his significant contribution to the industry’s knowledge about the effectiveness of advertising and marketing communications, and for his involvement in the IPA’s professional development programme.
