 In a nutshell

This brand new course from the IPA aims to explore how technology influences and is changing our behaviour.

Structure

Two days at LBi in Brick Lane on Thursday 4th - Friday 5th November with dinner at Shoreditch House on the first evening.

Thursday 4th November

10.00 am   Mark Earls (AKA HERDmeister) discussing the key themes from his latest & 
                  upcoming book
                  Group work
12.45 pm   Lunch
02.00 pm   David Carew (Department for Works and Pensions, Chief Psychologist) 
                  and Lorenzo Wood (LBi, Chief Technology Officer) debating how technology 
                  is affecting our behaviour                    
                  Q & A session
04.00 pm   Case study: Federico Bolza (Sony Music, Vice President of Marketing Services) 
                 discussing how the music industry has had to adapt to technology changes and 
                 the lessons learnt from this
05.00 pm   Break
06.15 pm   Leave LBi for Shoreditch House
06.45 pm   Pre-dinner speech: Professor Peter Cochrane (Futurologist) discussing the 
                  technology developments we can expect in the next 5 years & beyond

                  adopt gaming to solve marketing problems

11.30 am   Simon Waldman (LOVEFiLM, Group Product Director; author of Creative 
                  Disruption) discussing how companies need to re-engineer themselves 
                  to compete in today’s market place
