
Papers submitted to the IPA Effectiveness Awards competitions since 1980 have been compiled and indexed to form the IPA case study dataBANK. Papers from the regional AREA awards competition were added since their inception in 1995 and those from the Scottish Effectiveness Awards since 1997. These latter two competitions have now been subsumed into a single national competition for small to medium agencies and those papers have also been loaded on to the dataBANK. This database of effectiveness case material is, therefore, the most comprehensive database of such material in the world.
The papers themselves have been digitally scanned and indexed by WARC (World Advertising Research Center) and form an integral part of the WARC database. The IPA has an arrangement with WARC whereby IPA members can subscribe to WARC at a discount of 10% on each
annual subscription. In addition, the IPA has agreed with WARC that 25 IPA case studies (normally costing £20.00 each) may be downloaded and distributed in any one year to each IPA member on request to the IPA. Please send requests to the
Information Centre team. Thereafter, members only can contact the IPA directly for further IPA case studies at a discounted cost of £17.00 each, by ordering through this website.
