If you've done your reading you'll know that writing for the communications industry will ask questions of your abilities in all kinds of ways.
Now you need to find some answers.
The IPA Copy and CreativeTest 2010 is a competition that’s designed to assess your ability to identify an insight and to express it through a compelling creative concept.
You are looking to inspire, delight and surprise the reader. The readers in this case are Creative Directors and company Principals. So you'll want to demonstrate your ability to devise and create a campaign that grabs attention in a variety of media.
The prize for the winning submissions is a placement in an agency with entry to the IPA Creative Summer School as part of a creative team. There will also be a prize of £500 each, plus you can reclaim reasonable travel expenses. All participating agencies are in central London so you'll have to arrange your own local accommodation.
You will be expected to work from
5th July-6th August 2010.
Entries to the IPA Creative Summer School are accepted between
13th May - 14th June.
