Remit:
The IPA Strategy Group represents and works primarily for those in strategy and account planning. Its remit is to develop and champion best practice in strategic thinking, liaise with other IPA Groups when there is a common interest, and to form alliances with appropriate external bodies with whom joint ventures or projects can be developed.
Meetings:
Meetings are roughly every 4 weeks on Wednesday mornings at 8:30am. Meeting dates 2010 tbc.
Recent achievements:
• "Game changers: Strategy - Creativity - Technology" on Wednesday 13th May. Speakers included Dan Hon, co-founder of Six to Start, the award-winning entertainment production company behind the "We Tell Stories" project for Penguin Books, founder and Executive Director of digital consulting company Made by Many and Giles Andrews, co-founder of Zopa, a marketplace where people can lend and borrow money to and from each, sidestepping banks.
• "Game changers: Free" on Tuesday 14th July. Speakers included Ian Clark, Managing Director of thelondonpaper, Marc Allera, Sales and Marketing Director at 3, Matt Knight, a Creative Technologist at Wieden and Kennedy and Clive Dickens, COO of Absolute Radio.
