2012 IPA President's Reception
2012 industry prediction vox pops, followed by guest speaker The Hon. Ed Vaizey MP, Minister for Culture, Communications and Creative Industries, DCMS, on the work of the UK Creative Industries Council. IPA President Nicola Mendelsohn also gave an update on the progress of her IPA agenda and announced a new initiative - the Creative Pioneers Challenge - a nationwide competition to discover the next generation of UK Creative Pioneers, endorsed by Ed Vaizey on the night.
2011 IPA Effectiveness Awards - Judges' thoughts
The 2011 Effectiveness Awards, hosted by Jeremy Vine, celebrated 15 brilliant examples of effective communication. Colombian agency, Lowe-SSP3 won the Grand Prix with their Program of Humanitarian Attention to the Demobilised campaign, aimed at demobolising and reducing members of the oldest guerrilla group in the world, FARC. This video encapsulates the judges’ thoughts on the judging process and why these Awards are so important for the industry.
2011 Future of Talent Conference
At a recent conference on 12th October, IPA member agencies were joined by leaders in other creative industries to discuss new ways to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to prepare the market for its digital future.

Brought to you by IPA Outdoor and the OAA Digital Media Group, the Revealing Digital Life Out of Home event was held at the British Museum on Thursday 7th October, 2010. It was a great success with over 300 attendees representing a broad sprectrum of the industry. The event featured speakers from Unilever, JWT and PHD Media and was chaired by Michael Nutley (Editor-in-Chief, NMA)

IPA Convenors' Fight Club 2010
11th February 2010: Chaired by ringmaster Hamish Pringle, Director General of the IPA, this event celebrated the great brands from 30 years of the IPA’s Effectiveness Awards in a knockout fight to find the best case study

Night of the Adeaters
On 16th October 2008, the IPA presented the ‘Night of the Adeaters’ at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London. This internationally-acclaimed annual advertising festival presented 500 advertisements from all over the world. It originated in France in 1981, and currently shows in more than 160 cities across 47 countries
