Life is a Pitch


In November 20056 the IPA New Business Group published Life is a Pitch: seven perspectives on the role of new business. Chapters cover the role of new business, friends of new business, marketing, new business approaches, credentials, pitches and budgets and are written by practitioners already at the top of their game: Allan Dutton, Kate Cowan, Judy Mitchem, Victoria Worrall, Mike Nolan, Kathleen Saxton, Sandra Collins and Marcus Brown.

The Great New Business Course


The IPA New Business Group launched a 2-day Great New Business Course at the end of March 2006. The objective was to provide specialist, practitioner-led training to increase the real and perceived professionalism of IPA member agency account directors, new to the business development role and to improve agency efficiencies within this vital function.

The IPA New Business Group officially launched at an event held at Belgrave Square on Tuesday 18th February 2003. Presentations were given by Hamish Pringle, Director General, IPA and Neil Christie, Chair of the New Business Group.
