RSS at the IPA

What is RSS?

RSS, or Really Simple Syndication, is essentially a way to subscribe to content from a website meaning that you don't have to visit the site constantly to look for updates. An RSS document is normally called a ‘feed’ or ‘channel’ and can be either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. Content typically comprises blog entries, news headlines or podcasts.

We use RSS feeds to bring in relevant external content to this site, such as the Industry News Feeds and News Search and our Blogs Mashup page.
