4004 - I believe that client side marketing must embrace the tension between art and science to deliver human value in the world

The battle between art and science rages every day in society, through business, politics and culture. For too long capitalism has bound business to the world of science, where value is defined in purely economic terms. Marketing has inevitably lived here too, in the service of accountants. It is time for marketers to stand up, for art, for human values and recognise their importance in delivering the social and environmental value real people care about.
