From Mirrors to Magnets - Seduction in the Age of Algorithms

Abstract: Algorithms are helping marketers become more efficient in reaching people, but using them merely to mirror predicted consumer tendencies puts brands at risk of losing the intangible magic they can bring. I believe that seduction will always trump prediction, and that the future of brands will rest on us using algorithms to make brands magnetize people instead of mimicking them.
