Head of Strategic Services & Director of Business Innovation
Andrew Pinkess is Head of Strategic Services and Director of Business Innovation at AMV BBDO. He has responsibility for AMV’s Consulting, Customer Experience, Analytics, and Insight offers, and works across most of the agency’s major clients. His particular interests are in working upstream with brands to help them develop integrated marketing strategies that work across multiple channels, tracking effectiveness, and driving organisational change to deliver joined-up marketing solutions.
Prior to joining AMV, Andrew worked as Director of Strategy & Insight at LBi (now Digitas LBi), where he managed analytics, planning and consulting, content, CRM, research, and social teams. Before that he was Strategy Director at brand and customer experience agency Rufus Leonard, working across a wide range of blue chip clients in B2C, B2B and the public sector. He has also worked in client service and new business roles.
Andrew is an Oxford graduate with a degree in modern languages and an MBA from Warwick Business School. He is a member of the IPA Council, and a Fellow of the IPA. He served on the IPA’s Professional Development Group for seven years, the last five as Co-Chair, and on the Talent Leadership Group. He has also chaired and participated in various IPA events including ‘Unlearning’ ‘IPA Tech’, and the Talent adaptathon.
