Managing Partner, Marketing & New Business

Tracey has over 10 years experience in the industry both client and agency side. She graduated with a First Class BSc Hons degree in Business Management and Marketing. Tracey started her career in Account Management at One Voice Media and PR, followed by a stint client-side in the marketing department for IBM, which transitioned to Lenovo after selling the PC division. Tracey’s business development career started at the IPA, which continued in her next agency role at Meteorite where she led their Marketing and New Business efforts, before being sold to McCann WorldWide (now MRM Meteorite). In 2010, Tracey joined the globally acclaimed Customer Engagement agency, OgilvyOne (part of Ogilvy Group). Since joining she has risen to Managing Partner - Marketing and New Business, responsible for marketing and business development in the UK, as well as supporting the EAME region. During her time at the agency, OgilvyOne has been top of the New Business leagues and won Campaign Direct Agency of the Year for three consecutive years. As well as Tracey’s role on the IPA New Business Group, she is also a committee member of Bloom the advertising women’s network and has a passion for mentoring talent joining the industry. Tracey is a mum to her daughter, puppy and husband! She has a passion for watersports and cycling.

Anna has 20 years + experience in the marketing and communications industry, and in her current role spearheads the EMEA business development agenda for OMD, the region’s largest media network. This involves leading the co-ordination and presentation of large, multi-market, global and regional new business pitches, delivering aggressive organic growth targets, creating a dynamic marketing & communications strategy, as well as guiding and supporting her 65+ local markets to achieve their own ambitious business development goals and objectives. Across her career she has worked with clients such as Nike, Diesel, Reebok, adidas, Playstation, Volvo and American Express, as well as heading up Carat’s global new business and marketing team during a period of significant new business success and leverages this wealth of knowledge with energy and passion across her professional footprint. Anna lives in West Berkshire with her husband, two children and the real passion in her life, her two horses!

A true anomaly, Helen has various roles within the agency, but is primarily responsible for marketing and business growth in the UK. Within a year of Helen joining Anomaly in London, the team converted 100% RFIs and won 87.5% of pitches, securing clients such as the BBC, P&G/Stella McCartney, Cancer Research UK and Gordon's Gin, reaching #8 for new business (having not ranked previously); they haven't looked back since. Helen originally trained as a Project Manager at branding agency Rufus Leonard, where she moved into account management then in to strategy. She left Rufus Leonard to become a client-agency consultant at creativebrief; during her time there she gained a valuable insight into agency and client worlds. Laura started her marketing career at Penguin Books, before joining direct marketing agency, Elvis as Head of New Business. Here she led the agency’s largest ever pitches, including those for Sky and Mondelez; key wins to Elvis being voted MAA Agency of the Year. Now at Karmarama as New Business Director, Laura has kept the agency at the top end of Campaign’s New Business League. She has also worked on the multi-award winning Army account, the breast cancer awareness charity, CoppaFeel!, and also heads up Karmarama’s CSR activities, KarmaKind. Laura won the WACL Futures Leaders Award fund to study coding at Decoded, and has since founded the Futures Network for the award’s alumni in partnership with WACL and NABS.

Marketing Communities Manager (Maternity Leave)

Phillipa joined the IPA in September 2015 as Marketing Communities Manager. Prior to this she worked in the ad industry for six years at member agencies CHI & Partners, OgilvyOne and Fallon on campaigns for British Gas, TalkTalk, Scottish Power, Skoda and Debenhams. Famous campaigns include the X-Factor sponsorship idents. Phillipa graduated from Bournemouth University with an undergraduate degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications in 2008. At the IPA Phillipa looks after the groups and communities that support the IPA pillar strategy.
