House of Kaizen is looking for a full-time permanent Digital Copywriter to join our Digital Customer Experience (CX) team. You will be responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the copy deployed for our clients and within our own marketing and sales collateral. You will work closely with Designers on these creative projects.

Your copywriting skills will be harnessed for content pages on client sites, optimisation test variations, media ad copy, and House of Kaizen’s own marketing projects. You will collaborate with optimisation managers, media strategists, researchers and developers as well as marketing, client services and business development teams. You will work on global brands across numerous industries, such as travel, publishing, retail and technology. The projects will vary in size, scope and timeframe.

You will need to be curious and willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed. The role will require you to understand business requirements, juggle multiple projects, and step in and out of numerous clients.

Candidate requirements:

This role requires at least 2 years’ experience as a copywriter in a similar agency environment. Ideally you will have experience working with a CMS, have an interest in ecommerce and marketing, and be able to write clearly and precisely. Curiosity is a must.

You will have experience in writing copy for different purposes, for different audiences and with different tones of voice. You will be able to work quickly and to brief. You should be able to work alone well but also enjoy collaborating with designers and other teams.

Knowledge of, or experience in, SEO is highly beneficial and a bachelor’s degree is preferred but not essential (Marketing, Communications, Arts, Business).

You will need to provide a portfolio of your work that demonstrates your suitability for the role.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a copywriter in a similar agency environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven experience of working within tight deadlines
• Must be a self-motivated team player who can share ideas, and give and receive constructive feedback
• SEO experience is highly beneficial
• Hands-on experience with a CMS is beneficial
