2011 IPA Fantasy Football winners revealed
Last year the IPA ran its first Fantasy Football game for its members. Following on from its success, the hype continued into 2011 as 136 teams from 61 agencies took part, and over nine months of goals, transfers, tackles and red cards, Ben Blackall
of Ross Levenson Harris
was crowned as the 2011 champion.
Says Ben: “I just took a call from Roman Abramovich and I start work on Monday. Thanks IPA!”
Finishing with a staggering 513 points, Ben beat Jules Cattanach
of The Union Advertising Agency
to the top spot by just four points, while Andy Kemp
of Byron Advertising Ltd
finished in third place having acquired a comfortable 469 points.
In the agency league of leagues McCann Erickson Communications House (Birmingham)
were the 2011 champions finishing in first place. They were closely followed by Golley Slater Digital Ltd
who came second, and Ogilvy & Mather
who were third.
Both Ben and McCann Erickson Communications House (Birmingham) will receive a winning trophy and certificate.
