516 apply for CPC apprenticeships
The CPC will offer more than 50 places across top advertising, creative and digital media businesses, giving students the chance to be immersed in working life, and receive an industry recognised qualification at the end.
The agencies signed up to take an apprentice on are; 383 Project, Aegis Media, All Response Media, AMV BBDO, Bachtrack, Bareface Media, BBH, Big Communications, Bray Leino, Havas Worldwide, Hunterlodge, IPA, Iris, JWT, Karam Media, Karmarama, Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, Living PR, McCann Birmingham, MEC, Mindshare, OMD, One Black Bear, One Stop Arts, Publicis, Starcom MediaVest, WAA and ZenithOptimedia.
Says Janet Hull, Executive Director Creative Pioneers Challenge and IPA Director of Marketing, "With triple the applications to our programme this year, there is strong evidence that our new suite of creative and digital media apprenticeships are gaining traction in the market. We are exciting to see the quality of talent this pool will provide for our industry, as we begin the assessment and interview process."
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted on Tuesday 7th May and winners will take up their positions in early September.
Last month, the Creative Pioneers Challenge also took applications for internships. 677 final year university students and recent graduates applied to win a three-month internship.
