Calling all tech entrepreneurs...

If you see yourself as an innovative entrepreneur in the tech sector, and want to gain valuable exposure for your business amongst the biggest companies in the advertising, media and marketing world then here’s your chance. ICtomorrow in conjunction with the IPA is offering 20 exhibiting and networking slots at the IPA’s upcoming Creative Pioneers Conference and Members Lunch on Wednesday 2nd May.

The application deadline is very soon -Wednesday 25th April- to register and apply go to https://connect.innovateuk.org/web/ictomorrow/ipa

The IPA conference will focus on the theme ‘Creative Pioneers for our Digital Future from Silicon Valley to Silicon Roundabout ’, hosting an exciting combination of creative and technology speakers such as Yelp, Linked In, Playgen and digital agencies such as Dare, Sapient Nitro and Albion. The lunch following will be attended by many of the IPA’s 250 corporate members (the key players who spend in excess of £30 bn of the UK’s marketing budget). The event will take place at The Venue (aka Hackney House), Shoreditch Village.

Successful applicants will benefit from free exhibitor space at the event, an opportunity to promote their business to many of the IPA’s corporate members, as well as networking opportunities with advertising agencies, clients, industry figures and the press. For more information click here.

Says Janet Hull, Director of Marketing and Reputation Management, IPA “The IPA provides young tech start-ups with the ecosystem they need to make their businesses flourish. It’s a win-win for both sides.”

Says Nick Appleyard, Head of Digital at the Technology Strategy Board: “The proliferation of devices and services is forcing advertisers to adapt to the emerging technology or risk their message being lost. This competition aims to help startups and small business seize these opportunities and develop digitally innovative products and services that will drive the UK economy.”

IC tomorrow, a Technology Strategy Board programme, forms part of the Government’s blueprint for Technology. It works with rights holders and digital entrepreneurs and aims to remove the barriers to innovation by breaking down the challenges associated with delivering applications to the market.
