Govt’s Agile Route to Market relaunched as Communications Marketplace
According to the Cabinet’s Crown Commercial Service (which succeeded the Government Procurement Service in January 2014), the relaunch reflects the wider benefits offered by Contracts Directory and allows the entire selection and appointment process from identifying potential suppliers, through running a competition, to awarding contracts to be managed in one place. This reduces both the cost and time burden for suppliers when competing for government and public sector business.
Currently, 224 suppliers have registered on Communications Marketplace, providing a full range of sub-OJEU communication services across the UK.
Benefits of Communications Marketplace:
• You can use Communications Marketplace to search and filter for suitable suppliers based on key criteria such as location or the specific services that you require.
• You can also run your supplier briefs through Communications Marketplace, managing the whole process on one system.
• Each supplier who registers will have their own individual profile page within Communications Marketplace, which they can use to promote their business and the services they can offer you.
• There is no longer a limit to the number of services that suppliers are able to register for, meaning those agencies that provide the full range of services will be able to offer all of these to customers.
Communications Marketplace provides access to a full range of communication services and is divided into the following categories:
• Integrated Marketing
