IPA’s Gwilliam secures place on list of industry’s top digerati

The IPA’s Consultant Head of Digital and Emerging Technologies, Nigel Gwilliam, has been listed in 65th position in The Drum Digerati 2014, which recognises the top individuals in the UK digital industry.

In a special Digerati supplement published today, 15th October, Nigel what the next game changer in digital is; “for digital as a whole probably wearable tech or the internet of things. For digital advertising probably the spread of programmatic beyond classic online. The greatest risk is surveillance/privacy concerns.” He is also asked who the most interesting or inspiring person he has worked with is, to which he replies: “Paul Bainsfair (IPA Director General) and his anecdotes for every occasion.” Nigel is in good company, appearing in the list alongside Sir Martin Sorrell (23) and former IPA President Nicola Mendelsohn (10).

The Drum’s Digerati shortlist was drawn up by an independent panel of digital experts after they invited the industry to nominate the people they most respected. A public vote then determined who from the shortlist of 150 made it into the final Digerati top 100.
