IPA election results (25th April 2007) - MacLennan is new IPA President
Moray MacLennan, Chairman Europe, M&C Saatchi, has been elected as the new President of the IPA. He succeeds David Pattison, Chief Executive Officer, ILG Digital.
MacLennan’s election took place at a Special Council meeting, following the Annual General Meeting at Café Royal yesterday (25th April 2007).
Moray MacLennan was elected to the IPA Council in April 2005 and was formerly Chairman of the IPA Client Services Group. Moray began his career as a graduate trainee at Saatchi & Saatchi in 1983, after studying Law at Christ's College, Cambridge. Whilst at Saatchi & Saatchi he was a Worldwide Board Account Director across a range of major accounts and was promoted to Managing Director at 32. He left the agency with Maurice and Charles in 1995 to help found M&C Saatchi. Currently, he is Chairman of M&C Saatchi Europe and is responsible for all its Group Companies (including DM, Digital, Sponsorship and PR).

Tony Fenton, Finance Director of MediaCom has been re-elected as Honorary Treasurer.
