IPA elects new members - 10th September 2002

Five new agencies elected at the IPA Council on 10th September 2002: Factor 3, Glue London, Mediawise, Potter Dow, Times Right Marketing (TRM)

At its council meeting, (Tuesday 10th September 2002), the IPA elected the following five companies into membership:

Factor 3 is an independent, full service agency based in Cheltenham. Established in 1996, the agency was founded on, and has thrived on, it’s philosophy of applied creativity; a pragmatic and reasoned approach to the creation and implementation of marketing solutions which, in challenging times, has found favour with a diverse range of client businesses. Factor 3’s clients include Marconi, LivingWell Health Clubs, PGL Activity Holidays, Pegasus Retirement Homes, and TP Activity Toys Ltd. www.factor3.co.uk

Glue London is an advertising agency specializing in digital creative.  Established in October 1999, they have grown to 23 people, creating campaigns from online advertising to email, mobile campaigns, rich media and interactive TV. They believe in combining the talents of great creative teams (who understand digital media) with talented designers to create unique hardworking digital ads. Clients include the COI, Channel 4, Ford, Rank, T-Mobile, Virgin Trains, and Virgin Atlantic. www.gluelondon.com

Mediawise is a London based media agency founded in 1998, that places emphasis on strategic planning backed by competitive media buying. Its current clients include the Tunisian Tourist Office, Polti UK, Nikko Toys, Capespan, Country Life Butter and Belgium Tourist Board. Mediawise is looking forward to being members of the IPA because “it will enable them to contribute their views on industry matters and be heard collectively regarding major media issues.” www.mediawise.co.uk


Potter Dow, formed in July 2001 by ‘an ad man and a client’, is an independent fully integrated creative agency.  The belief that ‘everything the customer sees is advertising’ drives the working ethos ‘There is no line’ in every working practice.  The horizontal structure ensures that one senior team will work for a client across every discipline – from broadcast advertising through to Point of Sale, packaging and PR collateral. Key clients for the Cleveland Street based agency include the Diageo wine brands, Piat d’Or and Blossom Hill, ClaraNet the award winning business ISP, luxury goods retailer Kenneth Turner and the Principles fashion chain. www.potterdow.com

Times Right Marketing (TRM) is an integrated marketing business founded in 1993 who are committed to achieving good return on advertising investment for their clients. Their clients include Jones Lang LaSalle, Ace Insurance, Unbeatable.com, and Friends Provident.  TRM “are delighted to be joining the IPA and see membership as a great platform on which to continue to grow the business.” www.trm.co.uk
