IPA elects new members - 16th March 2006
At its quarterly council meeting (16th March 2006), the IPA elected seven new agencies into membership.

Ai London : Re-Launched in 2002, Ai London is a full-service digital advertising agency whose client list includes National Express, Post Office, Samsung, Telewest Broadband and Homeserve. CEO Bruce Winfield and Managing Director Ken Frakes lead this London-based agency with 35 employees.
Beechwood Group : An integrated agency based in London, Beechwood was established in 1989 and has 42 employees. Their clients include HMV (UK) Ltd, Realm Ltd, Matalan Retail Ltd, Conair Group Ltd, and Alliance & Leicester plc. Chairman Philip Beeching and Managing Director John Wood lead a team of directors including Broadcast Director Susannah Isaac and Head of Digital, Steve Gooder. Derek Hayes and Barry Woodcraft are Creative Directors.
Iris Nation : Iris is an Integrated Marketing Communications agency with 190 employees. Established in 1999, Iris clients include Sony Ericsson (Global, EMEA and UK remits), T-Mobile UK, Coca-Cola, Bacardi Brown Forman and Shell International. Ian Millner & Stewart Shanley are the Group Managing Directors, and
Sean Reynolds is Creative Director.
Mason Zimbler: Established in 1997, Bristol-based Mason Zimbler is a full service Marketing Communications Agency with 45 employees. Mark Mason is CEO and James Trezona is its Managing Director. Clients include Microsoft, Adobe, SAS, VeriSign UK, and MessageLabs.
Media Junction : A full service advertising agency based in London, Media Junction accounts include Stage Entertainment (UK) Ltd, Avalon Television Ltd, Kennedy Street Enterprises Ltd, Victor Hochhauser Productions, and Artificial Eye Film Co Ltd. Founder and Managing Director Giles Cooper established the agency in 1998 and acquired the Attic Graphic Design Company in 2000, expanding the company to its current 14 members of staff which includes Keith Watkins as Head of Media and Senior Account Director Brian Fry.
Monkey Communications : Monkey was established in 2001 as a communications planning agency. It is based in London and is comprised of 5 full time members of staff and 4 part time members. The Joint Managing Partners are Mick Rigby and Mike Taylor. Clients include Smart, Match.com, Youngs Brewery, Shelter, and The History Channel.
Tomlin Bean Associates : A London-based, creative advertising agency whose work includes adverts for Standard Life, Hammerson, ABPI, Homepride UK and Asthma UK. Founding Partners Geoff Bean and Nick Tomlin established Tomlin Bean in 1993, which has 10 employees.

The IPA is the industry body and professional institute for UK advertising, media and marketing communications agencies. It was established in 1917 as a servicing body and to negotiate on behalf of its members with media bodies, government departments and unions. Its 250 corporate members represent the major part of the advertising agency business, handling advertising with an estimated value of some £13,000 million per year (over 80 per cent of advertising placed by agencies) on behalf of their client companies and organisations nationwide. (note this figure is based on 2005 Advertising Statistics Yearbook figures and excludes classified and television production costs).
