IPA elects new members - 2nd December 2003
At its council meeting on Tuesday 2nd December 2003, the IPA elected the following six companies into membership:
Creative Media Advertising: Established in 1982, this creative agency is based in Congleton, Cheshire and has 29 full time staff. Their clients include: Nationwide Autocentres, Spirit Group, and Fords of Winsford.
Karmarama: Established in June 2000 by joint Creative Directors Dave Buonaguidi and Naresh Ramchandani this London based agency has 15 full-time employees. Their clients include: Ikea, UKTV and Emap Performance (Big City Radio).
Large Smith Walford: Established in 1987, this London agency has 7 full time members of staff and specialises in brand development. Their clients include: Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Boodle & Dunthorne Jewellers, Zoffany, Tag Heuer, Carrf Flower and Red Bull.
The Works London: Established in 1997, this sponsorship agency is based in London and has 31 full time employees. Its Chief Executive is Ben Pincus and their clients include: Coca-Cola, SAP, Canon and Sun International.
Proximity London is AMV.BBDO's sister agency specialising in direct marketing, sales promotion, digital and events. With 260 employees under Chief Executive Chris Thomas, Proximity London are part of the Proximity Worldwide network with offices in 38 countries.
TBWA/GGT was elected as a 'little sister' agency of TBWA/London. Also Based in London and with 200 employees, TBWA/GGT are a direct marketing and digital communications agency under Chief Executive Mike Cornwell. Their clients include: Vauxhall Motors, News International, Prudential and Abbey National.
This brings the total number of companies in IPA membership to 224.
