IPA launches new Insight Centre
The new facility offers research on anything from specific markets and brands, to broader social trends and new and emerging product categories, which the team can present in a variety of formats. The Insight team uses a range of premium global research tools including YouGov SixthSense, Key Note, IBISWorld, Trajectory Partnership and Iconoculture, in addition to news aggregator, Nexis – meaning they have access to 900 U.S, 500 Australian, 200 Chinese and 100 global reports across 2,000 industry sectors. The team also sources econometric data from the IPA’s search engine, EASE, which collates over 30 years’ worth of best practice publications and case studies submitted for the IPA Effectiveness Awards.
The service is confidential and free to use for members.
Says Jim Clark, IPA’s Insight Manager, “It is an exciting moment for us and for our members. We’ve spent the last six months really honing our approach to research and analysis in an effort to produce the most effective and efficient method of delivering actionable insights. Our renewed emphasis on insight (as opposed to information) adds an extra dimension to the material we give members. We don’t just provide numbers: we provide the story behind the numbers, and what they mean for you.”
You can contact the Insight Centre by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday on 020 7235 7020 (ask for the IPA Insight Centre). The team aims to respond within 48 hours of receiving a brief.
