IPA publishes its 2004 IPA Annual Review
In his last review as President of the IPA, Stephen Woodford talks about the success of the contracting-out of the self-regulation of broadcast advertising for the industry; the success of the new two CPD exam based qualifications - the IPA Foundation Certificate and the IPA Excellence Diploma; the Five Year Plan Group's initiatives with ISBA, CIPS and the Accounting Standards Board to raise the real and perceived value of agencies; and how the IPA is defending the right to advertise responsibly.
The review also summarises key activities across all the industry's marketing communication sectors represented by IPA committees, and usefully highlights the topline findings of IPA surveys, publications and training courses
