Peter Markey will be Chairman of Judges for the IPA’s Gold Accreditation scheme, which rewards agencies that have outstanding Continuous Professional Development programmes.
Pete Markey is Chief Marketing Officer for RSA Group, a global insurance business with over 20 million customers worldwide. He is responsible for all UK marketing across the RSA and MORE TH>N brands as well as sharing marketing best practise globally across the RSA Group. His role extends to brand, acquisition, customer and digital marketing.
Pete graduated from Southampton with a BA Hons in Corporate Communication and is a CIM Chartered Marketer. He has been awarded the DRUM, MI and Marketing Society Marketer of the Year awards. In 2011, he was named as one of Campaign magazine’s Top Ten Marketing Directors of the year.

agencies will not only have met the full criteria for Continuous Professional Development
accreditation (inductions, appraisals, training objectives and CPD diaries) but will have exceeded regular practice. Companies will show creativity in building a vibrant learning culture, in support of real business objectives, that has not come about as an afterthought. The judges look to reward the submissions that clearly demonstrate the link between a holistic approach to Continuous Professional Development and business success.

This is the fifth year of Gold CPD Accreditation
and 2011 saw 29 agencies awarded for their outstanding professional development programmes, including Woolley Pau Gyro, Hunterlodge, JWT and Karmarama. The awards will be announced at the IPA Annual Members’ Lunch
