Take the stage at SXSW: submit your panel proposal now

Do you have a ‘new tech’ or ‘createch’ subject to wax lyrical on? An innovative take on it? New stats, facts, opinion and predictions? A title to entice people to hear more? If so, why not enter a proposal to host a session at SXSW 2019 – one of the leading emerging tech festivals.

The IPA is supporting Promote UK* in its calls for UK firms – including IPA agencies – to submit proposals for both the SXSW Panel Picker and Interactive Innovation Awardsbefore the deadline of Friday 20th July.

Says Janet Hull, IPA Director of Marketing Strategy and Promote UK Chair: “The UK is one of the strongest supporters of SXSW, alongside Germany and Japan, when it comes to delegate numbers. We want to shout louder, get heard more, and pitch UK credentials as a global hub for creativity and technology in a post-Brexit world; with more platforms, more awards, a UK SXSW guide and event showcase, in collaboration with the UK Department of International Trade.”

Promote UK is a cross-industry group to promote British advertising around the world, working in partnership with UK Government and the Great campaign. Promote UK and the IPA will be hosting a webinar on 12th July at 1pm with SXSW Business Development Manager Una Johnston, to answer any questions about submitting and share ‘Top Tips On Getting Your Panel into SXSW’.

To register for the webinar, and to find out how Promote UK can support you with your SXSW entries contact the IPA’s Head of New Business Aisling Conlon.
