The IPA and ISBA launch first ever Good Pitch Week

The IPA, in partnership with ISBA, is launching the first ‘Good Pitch Week’, a series of cross-industry events for clients and agencies designed to examine pitch practice and inject new thinking as part of the initiative. Events throughout the week are quickly selling out but there's still time to get tickets for the remaining ones.


HSBC Global Pitch Sharing Session (SOLD OUT)

When: Monday 4th November, 4pm - 6pm

Where: Saatchi & Saatchi, London, W1A 1AQ

The week will kick off with Andrea Newman, the global head of advertising at HSBC, sharing her thoughts on and learnings from the bank’s recent global advertising review. She will be joined by two winning agencies: JWT and Saatchi&Saatchi.


Ian Priest Keynote

When: Tuesday 5th November, 8.30am - 10.30am

IPA President, Ian Priest will be looking back at the Alliances Adaptathon that took place on 3rd October 2013. Cross-industry bodies, clients and agencies met to ‘hack’ out the future of their relationships.


Roundtable: Sarah Billson (SOLD OUT)

The IPA’s New Business and Marketing Group are hosting a roundtable discussion with Sarah Billson, the founder of procurement experts ‘Tickling the Trout’. Since procurement is playing an increasing role in agency selection, it is vital that agencies understand how best to work with them to achieve the common goal of fruitful commercial relationships.

The Art of New Business invites members of the IPA and ISBA to debate the question “do agencies practice what they preach”. The Art of New Business's co-founder Sarah Bradley will share the results of agency and client surveys and then open the floor to a client panel to discuss.

Novartis/ ID Comms Global Media Pitch Sharing Session

When: Tuesday 12th November, 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Where: IPA, London, SW1X 8QS

In this session Novartis, the client and the pitch consultant will present a revealing post-mortem of one of the largest global media pitches that covered 105 countries and had a global media spend of $650 million.
