TouchPoints e.Learning launched

The IPA has launched the first e.Learning module for its TouchPoints Survey. The TouchPoints online learning programme provides an introduction to the database for beginners - the survey, its background, content and purpose - to grow their knowledge and use the data with confidence.

IPA TouchPoints is a unique consumer-focused, multi-media database which has been produced in response to the needs of the communications industry, specifically to provide insights into how people use all media.

This e.Learning module is intended for anyone working in the communications industry, regardless of discipline. The primary targets are beginners to TouchPoints, people moving into advertising from another industry and existing staff wishing to expand their knowledge.

The programme is available in modules, in order for the trainee to learn at their own pace, anywhere, anytime. There are four learning paths which include:

  • About IPA TouchPoints
  • The TouchPoints Hub Survey
  • The TouchPoints Channel Planner Database
  • Assessment

The course should take no longer than five hours to complete and on completion there is an online assessment and successful participants will receive a certificate of completion.

About TouchPoints

The primary objective of TouchPoints is to provide the communications industry with a consumer centric planning tool which allows them to better understand how people use the increasing wide range of media channels available to them and how their media usage fits into everyday life.
