Now in its fifth year, Advertising Week Europe is a hybrid of inspiring thought leadership, entertainment and special events celebrating the industry and its people. IPA Effectiveness Pavilion at Prolific North Live 2017

15-16 February 2017, Manchester

The IPA and 11 of its members are hosting a dedicated  ‘IPA Effectiveness Pavilion’, at Prolific North Live.
The 11 agencies will deliver case studies and presentations detailing the effectiveness of their work on behalf of their clients ranging from multi nationals to UK regional and national brands. Jackie Holt, Managing Partner at BJL and an IPA City Head, said: “We’ve seen a real step-change happening across advertising and communications. Creative Shootout

19th January 2017, London

Following the inaugural Creative Shootout in January, the 2017 awards are now open to agency or in house teams from every marketing discipline. 

The Creative Shootout is a high octane creative competition done in a day - with the winning team’s ideas going to an initiative run by the UK’s two largest mental health charities, Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.

Following a first year focused on PR, which saw agency Mischief crowned overall winner, agency or in house teams can now enter from any marketing discipline.  

Entry is done by sending in and giving the judges just ‘60 seconds’ on why the agency or in house team believes it has the creative clout for Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.  The format can be any content – visual, video, showreel, app, audio, written, just a simple email or even a cake – but it must be viewed, read (or digested) in 60 seconds by the judges. 

Entry is open at www.creativeshootout.com to close Friday 11th November 2016. 

From there, entries are shortlisted to eight finalist teams, who go on to compete in a live head-to-head final on 19th January 2017, in London.  Finalists receive a real brief in the morning from Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, then pitch it back to judges and a live audience of several hundred in the afternoon - and in the evening a 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be crowned at an after party.
