Survey updates


  TouchPoints5 questionnaire update

The new self completion questionnaire and e-diary for TouchPoints5 have been finalised and are now being put into electronic format by Ipsos. The TouchPoints team would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your invaluable contributions. We will circulate a presentation to subscribers highlighting the main changes to the questionnaires shortly.




  TouchPoints5 passive data

TouchPoints5 respondents who opt to complete the ediary by downloading the app onto their smartphone will also be asked to download a passive app which will measure all their smartphone activity (calls, texts, web browsing, app use, GPS etc.) for 4 weeks. Results will be made available to subscribers for an additional fee. For more info, please contact Belinda .




   Route on Channel Planner

RSMB have started the fusion work of the latest Route dataset with the Channel Planner. The covered environments will be Roadside, Tube and Buses, the remaining environments will be released for fusion once they have been validated by Route. As soon as RSMB have completed the initial fusion, the data will be passed to bureaux for loading. Once we have a release date from the bureaux we will let you know.




TouchPoints in Action


 Kantar's Viz Explorer tool

Kantar have developed a Data Visualisation tool called Viz Explorer specifically targetted at creative agencies but available to all. In quick and easy steps it will help to turn your analyses into visually engaging formats using a collection of pre-set templates. Users will be able to create great charts without needing training on complicated coding or cross-tabbing systems.




 Guardian Media Planner

By combining their own proprietary data and the TouchPoints4 Channel Planner, the Guardian have created their 'Audiences Not Platforms' planning tool, accessible through Telmar. This allows users to calculate campaigns reach and frequency across the Guardian's entire cross platform portfolio: website, print, mobile and tablet.






TouchPoints e-learning


  Get your TouchPoints accreditation

An e-learning module has been developed specifically to give TouchPoints beginners a quick overview of what TouchPoints is and how it can be used. This module will be accessible through the CPD section of the IPA website and will give users a TouchPoints accreditation. More information to follow shortly.
