Sarah Golding's Presidential Agenda: Magic and the Machines

IPA President Sarah Golding is learning from the front in her quest to acquire and share the knowledge needed for the ad industry to embrace and implement AI and AR into client campaigns.

We are moving into a new creative era. One that can seem complex and daunting but one that is going to completely change the way we target and speak to our audiences. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) is here and already being used by some pioneering adlanders and marketers.

Over the next two years the IPA will be hosting a dedicated series of inspirational talks and deep dive learning to ensure you can talk to your clients about AI and AR as well as having the know-how to work with these intelligent tools.

SXSW conference and Festival, Austin, Texas – 9th -18th March

An incubator of cutting-edge technologies and digital creativity, the 2017 event will feature compelling presentations and panels from the brightest minds in emerging technology. Sarah will be attending for the first time, sharing her learnings and interviews with key players via videos, blogs, podcasts and news items.

We are organising more events during the tenure of Sarah's presidency with some of the pioneers in AI technology - watch this space for details of more events.

  • 2018 sees the launch of our first Magic & the Machines accredited Digital Media & Marketing qualification covering a host of core digital knowledge for entry level employees. People will learn the language and understand the key tools to empower them to have better conversations with clients about the new technological landscape.
