Sarah Golding's Presidential Agenda: Magic and the Machines

IPA President Sarah Golding is learning from the front in her quest to acquire and share the knowledge needed for the ad industry to embrace and implement AI and AR into client campaigns.

We are moving into a new creative era. One that can seem complex and daunting but one that is going to completely change the way we target and speak to our audiences. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) is here and already being used by some pioneering adlanders and marketers.

Over the next two years the IPA will be hosting a dedicated series of inspirational talks and deep dive learning to ensure you can talk to your clients about AI and AR as well as having the know-how to work with these intelligent tools.

Hear from Thomas Thomas Films about using VR in their production The Wayback to connect with dementia patients. Filmed in 360 with ambisonic sound, The Wayback is the first virtual reality series of memory films targeted at those living with dementia. Book your place.

SXSW UK Roadshow 2018 - March-May

SXSW Interactive remains the biggest and best emerging technology festival on the planet. It’s earned a reputation as a breeding ground for new ideas and creative technologies for a world ever more reliant on technology. Nigel Gwilliam, IPA Consultant Head of Media and Emerging Technology will be bringing SWSW to our members around the UK.

IPA Members' Lunch - 18 April

This year at the industry’s annual senior networking event - Jamie Bartlett, presenter of the BBC’s ‘Secrets of Silicon Valley’ will talk about the dark web, online social movements and the impact of technology on society. He is the Director of the Centre of Analysis of Social Media at Demos and author of Radicals, The Dark Net and of Orwell Versus the Terrorists.

Find Your Voice - 15 May

Business Leadership Training Course 2018 - 20 June

2018 President's Reception

At the 2018 President's Reception Sarah delivered her speech to adland, looking forward to the next couple of years with a keen optimism that includes welcoming AI into the fold for the benefit of the whole industry both individually and collectively.
