Women of Tomorrow Competition
For the second year running, the IPA and Campaign are looking to identify the female industry leaders of tomorrow. 10 winners will be announced at an event and within a Campaign feature to mark International Women’s Day in March 2014.
The IPA and Campaign are looking to identify 10 ‘Women of Tomorrow’. These female industry leaders of the future could come from agencies, media owners or client companies, from any of the following job roles:
- Client services
- Creative services
- New business
- Media buying
- Media planning
- Media sales
- Brand management
The deadline for entry is 17th January 2014
. Entrants need to download
, fill in and then submit
the Women of Tomorrow entry form with a 500 word summary on how the individual:
- demonstrates leadership potential
- fulfils their role
- any other significant achievements
All entries need to be signed by the nominee and by senior management of the entrant company and agree to the conditions of entry. When the entry form is ready for submission upload it alongside the entry fee of £100+VAT for members and non-members.
Women of Tomorrow should come from the middle echelons of management. Individuals should already be demonstrating leadership qualities. It is unlikely they will already be board level (although exceptions would be made for smaller companies); equally they will be significantly more experienced than graduate level. Where an individual’s role encompasses more than one of the above job functions the individual should be entered into the category where they spend the majority of their time.
The IPA is partnering with headhunting firm Daniel Marks London, in order to shortlist potential entrants. Shortlisted entries will be interviewed by leading ‘Women of Today’. All interviews will take place at the IPA on Thursday 13th February (TBC) – candidates will need to be available on this date, and will be notified the week before of an approximate time.
All winners will be announced at a breakfast ceremony event at the IPA on Wednesday 5th March, the details of which will be published in Campaign to coincide with International Women’s Day on 8th March.
