ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking to recruit a motivated and platform-attuned Creator and Culture Specialist to join our Networks team who are responsible for the agency’s community, casting and amplification work. This role will report into our Digital & Talent Lead as we enter a new phase of growth, attracting bigger and better cross-platform opportunities. Whilst this role will be across all our projects, you will have a natural interest in the sports market and be able to lean into this to help cast culturally relevant creators for our clients within that space.

The ideal candidate will be obsessed with all things social media and popular culture. You’ll have an informed understanding of – Gen Z/youth culture, digital trends, and the related landscape: celebrities, brands, TV, podcasts, sports, fashion, beauty, music, lifestyle & art. You will know what is trending on different platforms, be across platform updates and have a POV on how we can use this to our clients’ advantage, putting forward exciting ideas and executions that feel fresh in the creator and space. You understand how to shape and set KPIs, be data driven and use the results to tell a story.

You have a deep understanding of communities and a proven track record of how to cast cultural amplifiers both individual creators and communities/collectives and help platform them through brands and partnerships. You will know what good engagement and thumb stopping content looks like and use that knowledge to ensure that we remain innovative and disruptive in the creator space. You will need to work flexibly across different projects and duties including casting, building communities, creative ideation, negotiating, contracting and content management reporting.

You will be the buffer between our creators and our clients, ensuring that they are set up for success and clients understand the creator’s value proposition. From a client perspective, success will be measured by repeat business due to our unique casting strategy and creators options that push them to use more unconventional and diverse creators, proven through the strong results for the content we help create.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTION:

- Identifying and sourcing brand amplification creators, you will independently own the brief and help to create and inform the KPIs in order to curate collectives or individuals that successfully amplify campaigns and launches.
- Contributing to new business pitches and meetings when required, drawing on your knowledge and insights of the wider community.
- Creating/inputting into rosters of underrepresented creators from BIPOC and LGBTQI+ we will build a database that is strong and inclusive for the wider team to access.
- You will find, connect and tap into niche, marginalised identities and underrepresented spaces.
- You will regularly attend networking events. Be a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for the agency and our work, reflecting the Digi brand values and principles externally at relevant industry events and panels to maximise visibility of Fairy Networks and to grow our network of potential collaborators and clients.
- You will have an active interest in digital and social platform best practices and data, looking at project performance and having a viewpoint on how we can best set projects up to deliver against industry benchmarks and client objectives.

TEAM CONTRIBUTION:

- You will work collaboratively within the Fairy Network division, in addition to cross-functionally with the wider agency to deliver projects.
- You will use your knowledge of the creator space and communities to help upskill the team on how to identify relevant creators and implement a fair and positive relationship with all creators.
- You will be solutions oriented, helping to prevent and resolve issues related to projects in Networks as they arise or working with the Digital & Talent Lead to troubleshoot larger scale issues.
- You will take ownership and responsibility for your development, using your 121’s to share progress updates and request training / courses that you have researched.
- You will be vocal about your interest / passion / skill set when new briefs or new business opportunities come in, to ensure that you are assigned to the projects where you can deliver the most impact.
- You will have regular agency and creator meetings to elevate our relationships and ensure we are always looking to reflect the mission & values of the business through the creators we work with.
- Support the Talent and Digital Specialist with campaign planning, defining casting approaches & considerations and setting benchmarks.

EXPECTATIONS:

- You will be passionate about sports, lifestyle and beauty from brands to tech - you will have a natural affinity with that space and know what is happening from a creator perspective.
- You are an articulate and clear communicator whether in person, by phone or by email with impeccable attention to detail across all of your output(s).
- You have solid experience (min 2 years+) working across various clients/projects, with multiple stakeholders.
- You understand the importance of diversity and inclusion and what it means to the advertising and creative industries, as well as wider society.
- You have in-depth knowledge of the creative landscape, culture and society to give our work a competitive edge.
Ideally you have prior global casting experience with an understanding of the US and/or APAC creator market.
- You understand and keep up-to-date with compliance issues within the UK and the US both in terms of best practice and mandatory labelling of advertising and any broader market considerations.
- You have great interpersonal skills, understanding the importance of client servicing and building strong relationships internally too!
- You are highly proactive, seeking opportunities to flex your skillset across projects where you believe it will make the project better.
- You always have a clear POV and idea of how to make something better, you are not afraid to challenge the brief or client.
- You keep up to date with emerging industry trends and platforms.You will always have one eye on the competition, the latest update from platforms, benchmarks and the types of formats that work best right now.
