Introducing our new members

SBW

Here at SBW, we focus on the good stuff and are proud to create, develop and implement positive impact campaigns that change the way people think – for the better. Since setting up in 2004, we’ve established ourselves as one of the leading integrated marketing & advertising agencies in Wales and the South West of England, with a track record of creating award-winning brand identities, communication strategies, and bi-lingual public awareness raising campaigns (and associated assets and materials) for a range of Welsh Government, NHS and many other public and third sector clients.

Setting the UK industry’s best practice standards, the IPA supports and empowers marketing and advertising agencies to develop and grow, enabling practitioners to future-proof their careers through their CPD programme while keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies. So, as an agency committed to continuous improvement, the decision to become a member of the IPA was a no-brainer.

The Nest

The Nest Media is an independent media planning and buying agency helping brands soar. After years working for some of the media industry giants, we founded The Nest to do things our own way; to create an agency focused on creating true partnerships with all of our clients, agency and media partners. From Strategic planning through Tactical paid media deployment to Analytics & Reporting, we offer all the services you’d find at a big agency, delivered with the love, care and attention of a smaller boutique agency.

The Nest is approaching its 3rd birthday and we’re extremely proud of the team we’ve built and the impact we’ve been able to make on our client’s business across a relatively short period. Joining the IPA is key to the next stage of our growth plan, allowing us to better develop the team’s skills through the IPA’s Course & Qualifications, better inform our strategic guidance through their Resources & Initiatives and continue our focus on Effectiveness, one of our core company values.

The Weber Shandwick Collective

The Weber Shandwick Collective UK is a 500+ strong, multi-disciplined team offering broad, earned-first marketing services. Building from our heritage in public relations and communications, we develop integrated comms solutions for clients – spanning culture marketing to public affairs, advertising and market research.

We’ve long-since admired what the IPA stands for, particularly when it comes to measuring effectiveness, and we are pleased to be cementing our partnership with them in 2024, following on from the huge success of our pioneering Earned Effect research project (a Weber Shandwick and IPA Effectiveness Awards databank partnership), which launched earlier this year.

One campaign we are particularly proud of is OG Drops – putting eBay right at the heart of sneakerhead culture and giving fans the chance to wind back the clock and buy iconic designs at their intended, OG price point.

We are delighted to welcome SBW, The Nest and The Weber Shandwick Collective into the IPA community. They will be great additions to our UK-wide membership, and we look forward to working with them in the months and years to come.

Tom Mott, Director of Membership, IPA
